Over Culver’s Graduation Weekend, I photograpghed many different events. The weekend ended with the Graduation Ceremony, which includes the Arch Ceremony for the graduating CGA co-eds. Below, are a few photos from the Arch Ceremony. Other photos are located at- http://www.culverphotos.com/6_3_12_arch1

Please note that all the photos are posted in the order that they were taken, If you are looking for a student who was one of the last girls to go through the Arch, her photos will be near the end of the gallery.

Culver Academy Senior Night Photos

This Spring, as I’ve done previous years, I photographed the Culver Academies seniors before their annual Senior Dinner Dance. For me, this is a very informal, casual, and fun event that I like covering as I’ve gotten to know many of the students over the years photographing their senior sessions, portrait sessions, and various sports. It is also one of the last times that I get to see the kids in a fun setting before they walk through the Gate or Arch when they aren’t running 16 different directions. As always the kids looked sharp and were dressed to impress. I’ve shared a few photos here. Other photos are posted at- http://www.culverphotos.com/2012_dance

CMA Polo vs. Midland Polo Club

A few weeks ago, Ginny and I photographed the CMA polo match against National Champs Midland. The Midland team is a college team, but the CMA team held their own. Horsemanship Jumping-Fall Jump Show 2011

One of my favorite things to do is photograph horses. Photographing them during the jumping shows/tournaments is a lot of fun, though the lighting in the arena is so tricky. I’ve been experimenting with camera settings, lenses, and software-editing tools. I have finally found some combinations that I like. The Culver jumping team members do an amazing job at these tournaments. If you haven’t seen them compete, you should come out and watch them, as they perform well and represent Culver like true champions. And the horses aren’t too bad either!

CMA Varsity Hockey vs. Shattuck

The CMA Varsity hockey game against Shattuck was an exciting game. CMA came out the victors with 4-2 score. I’ll be following all of the hockey teams this year and hope to keep you updated with photos and scores.

Culver Academies’ Halloween 2011 Dance

Last weekend, I decided to venture to Culver Academies’ campus for their annual Senior Halloween party. Over the years, I’ve heard a little about this event, though I had never personally witnessed it. When Ginny and I attended Culver, they didn’t have a senior-only event for Halloweeen at Beason.

The party was a lot of fun and I have to say, the kids really do go all out with their costumes. There were some really good and creative ones that the kids came up with. I’ve posted some photos from the night here. To view additional photos from the evening’s crazy events, please visit our website at:
