Culver Indiana Portrait Photographer: David Family Shoot

This past weekend, I was contacted by CMA’s football coach Andy Dorrel to do a family portrait of the David family, as all of the kids and grandchildren were in town at the same time. 24 of them in all! Little did I know that this family shoot was also being done for a campaign photo for Mr. David who is currently running for County Council. We decided that Culver Academy had the best scenery and setting for our session but unfortunately, we couldn’t control the weather. It was very beautiful but extremely hot and muggy. Keeping everyone happy, smiling, and sweat-free was a little difficult. We managed, though, and I got some shots that I’ll be proud knowing will be used in print advertising. I’ve posted a few of the photos here.

Culver Indiana Photographer: 2010 Lakefest

This past weekend, I took some photos at a few of the events during Culver’s Lakefest Weekend. I’ve posted several photos from the Miss Maxinkuckee Competition, Lakefest Parade, the Car Show, and the Talent Show at www.culverphotos.com/2010_lakefest

Hilton Head Wildlife Photography

This week, I made a last-minute trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina to surprise my wife who is down there for 21 days. During my 48-hour trip, I had a little time to explore the island and shoot some of the beautiful wildlife in their natural environments. In my travels, I came across many types of birds, dolphins, alligators, and pelicans. I’ve posted a few photos here. More can be found at:

Culver Indiana Wedding Photographer: Desiree and Dustin

300_6068

Two weeks ago, Ginny and I photographed the wedding of Desiree and Dustin, a beautiful, young couple who are a lot of fun to be around and photograph. They had their reception at the Cove and wanted some specific shots on the beach. We also came up with a few other ideas. Ginny made the comment that Desiree had some of the most beautiful expressions and smile, and I couldn’t agree more. Dustin had a hard time holding back the tears. We had a blast with both of them and their friends and families. Desiree and Dustin, Ginny and I wish you both all the best in your new ventures. You both deserve the great times ahead.
