CGA Volleyball Banners

Last week, I photographed volleyball seniors and created the banners for their games. Below are the designs that we ended up with.

Culver Academy Senior- Carina

After the dust from a busy Graduation Weekend settled, Ginny and I had the opportunity to photograph Culver Girls Academies senior Carina before she went home to Florida. Carina is a beautiful subject. We wish her the best of luck in her future. We are certain it’s going to be filled with many achievements.

Culver Academy Senior- Willie

Ginny and I had a great time photographing Willie, a senior heading off to college in Indianapolis where he’ll play football. Willie has worked for us this past year, so we’ve gotten to know what a great guy he is. It has been a pleasure getting to know someone we’ve been photographing in sports and now as he’s going off to college. We’ll be sure to keep tabs on this young man as he makes his way on the next step of his journey. We know he has a bright future ahead of him. Best of luck, Willie!

Culver Academy Senior- Courtney

The wind off of Lake Max was cold and fierce the day we photographed Courtney for her senior session. She was a trooper, though, changing outfits in between and hitting all the locations. Courtney has a beautiful smile to match her personality. We hope her future brings her much of the same success she had at Culver.

Culver Academy Senior- Will

This year, we had the honor to photograph a fellow classmate’s son. Lisa, parent to Will, the handsome young man in these photos, graduated a year ahead of Ginny and two years ahead of me. We’ve seen her around Culver since Will joined the ranks of cadets. We have also photographed Will numerous sports events, including football, which he’ll be continue on to play in college. We know why Will’s parents must be so proud, as he is truly a gentleman and as is kind as he is polite and cooperative behind the camera. We wish him all the best and hope we see him visiting his younger sister in Culver.

Culver Academy Senior- Rachel

This senior session was filled with great ideas, lots of color, and Rachel’s great personality. Ginny and  had a great time walking campus with Rachel, and her session was before the endless days of no rain, so the grass is green and campus looked great. So did our subject. We wish Rachel the best at college and with her future. We know she’ll have a smile on her face and a great attitude no matter what her future brings.

Culver Academy Senior- Dustin

We’ve known Dustin Cowell since his birth, as he has been a friend to Ginny’s family all of his life through the relationship they have with Dustin’s parents, Dan and Julie. Ginny’s nieces and nephews look up to Dustin as a role model. We can’t believe he’s heading to college in the Fall. Dustin had many successes at Culver. But most endearing of all of his qualities is Dustin’s capacity to care for others. He’s got an incredibly strong work ethic that we know will carry him through college, but we also know that his personal values will create achievements and friendships that will have an impact on those Dustin’s life touches. We wish him all the best in his future and look forward to seeing him when he’s home on breaks.

Culver Academy Senior- Woolfolk

Formal portrait sessions of seniors are one of our favorite things to photograph. Ginny likes the color the sashes add to the uniform and  like the simplicity of a portrait session, though they aren’t always as simple as point and click. Following are some shots of a great young man who could smile or be serious. It was nice getting to know another trooper, as I was a trooper at Culver in the ’80s.

Joe Krsek Senior Photo Session

Last weekend, I traveled out into the country to photograph Culver community High School student Joe Kresk at his home.  The weather wasn’t the best for the session but realizing that out days for scheduling Fall sessions is quickly coming to an end, we decided to go ahead with the session. Joe was a big help during the session in that he had several locations already picked out that he wanted photos by and then he humored me with my suggestions. I hope that the computer that you view these photos on will show this–Joe has some of the bluest eyes we’ve ever seen on a person. They are really cool. For any skeptics out there… if they do not show up on your computer, these are his natural eyes as shot. I did not color enhance them or anything.
