Culver Hockey Photographs: CMA Varsity vs. Prairie Ridge High School

On Friday night, the CMA Varsity hockey team played Prairie Ridge High School from Illinois. Having lost to this team 4 of the 5 times they played one another last year, the game was expected to be quite close and exciting. The players did not disappoint their fans. The game was filled with a lot of action and great play, and Culver pulled off the victory with a win of 4 to 2. I’ve posted some photos here. Additional photos are located at:

This morning, the CMA Eagle’s Varsity Hockey Team played their second game against the Prairie Ridge High School Hockey Team. Plagued by penalties and up against a team that used the previous night’s loss to refresh, regenerate, and relight their passion, the Culver Academy Eagles did not fair well. I don’t know if the Prairie Ridge team studied the tapes from last night or if their desire to win was just that strong. Regardless, they played well and capitalized on CMA’s penalties. What a nail biter game! This evening, the CMA Eagle’s Varsity Hockey Team hosted the Prairie Ridge High School hockey team for their first home game of the season.The game started out on a possitive note with the Culver Eagles scoring early in the game followed by another goal a few minutes later. The first period ended with a score of Culver 2, Prairie Ridge 0. The second period proved to be a challenge for Culver with Culver giving up 2 points. The period ended with a tie score. During the third period, Culver scored with Prairie Ridge following a few minutes later. It appeared as though the game was going to end as a tie until Culver scored with 37 seconds left in the game. Final score: Culver-4, Prairie Ridge- 3. Let’s hope Culver can win again in the morning when there is a rematch. I’ve posted my favorite photos here.
