The CMA varsity went much like the JV game played out earlier in the evening. The Bishop Leurs didn’t play badly. Culver Lacrosse has reached a level that few Midwest teams can compete with. Due to fading light, and the fact that I was only able to get shots of a few players because all of the action was near the other team’s goal, I left at the half. The score was 11 to 0 when I left. I got to only watch the second half of the game, as the rugby match I also shot this afternoon, started late. The JV lacrosse game was a little one sided with the majority of the action being at the opposing team’s goal. As a photographer, I missed half of the team during the game because Culver’s offense kept the game at the opposing team’s goal. If the lacrosse teams keep playing this well, I’m never going to get any photos of their defense doing anything more than standing around waiting for the ball that never comes their way. :) Please know that I’m not belittling Bishop Leurs. They probably do well against other schools. Culver’s lacrosse program is just that amazing here among Midwestern schools.
